報知映画賞

みなさん、報知映画賞で最優秀監督賞なんてものをいただきますと、授賞式当日にハイヤーでお迎えが来ます。　私の家の前に横付けされた黒塗りの車から品のいい運転手の方が出ていらして、後部座席のドアを開けてくれちゃったりしました。　滑らかな走行に身を任せ、会場までの一時間半、社長コントをやっているような気がしてくる現実感の希薄さ。
こんなことは二度とないかもしれないので、私は流れる景色を見つめながら音楽でも聴いて、この状況に精一杯酔うことにしたのですが、持ってきた音楽が「メタリカ」だけだったので途中で切りました。　後半、思わず料金メーターを気にしてしまった自分も悲しい。もちろんそんなもんついてませんでした。
予想以上に立派な会場に着きまして、目の前に薬師丸ひろ子さん、振り向けば田中裕子さん、そのちょっと向こうに沢尻エリカさんと、どんどん現実感のなくなっていく光景を眺めていますと、逆に緊張感が薄れていきますね、本当に夢を見ているみたい。　なんか夢の中だとなんの脈絡もなく有名人とか、知り合いとか友達とかが混ざって出てきたりしますが、まさにあんな感じです。　奇妙な空間でした。
受賞は素直にうれしいですが、これはまさに「運命じゃない人」の出演者、スタッフ全員に与えられた賞だと思います。　みんなでよってたかって私を壇上まで引き吊り上げた、そんな感じです。　そしてこんな小さな映画の新人監督にいきなりこういった賞を与えてしまう報知映画賞も大胆でかっこいいなあと思います。　ありがとうございました。

まず多数の受賞、おめでとうございます。僕はツインパックを購入したのですが、どちらも本編はもちろん、コメンタリーの方もかなり楽しませて頂きました。コメンタリーを聞いていると、監督の優しさというか気さくさが伝わってきて、撮影現場もきっと楽しかったんだろうなぁ、と思いました。「運命じゃない人」のコメンタリーのラストで言っていた名言を、心に刻んで毎日過ごして行きます。これからも楽しい作品、よろしくお願いします！	ヒロ共 2006/02/02 00:03
